about passo sella
Passo Sella is a high mountain pass (2,218 m) between two Italian provinces: Trentino and South Tyrol. With a few nearby passes, such as Passo Pordoi, Gardena, and Campolongo, Passo Sella forms a quadrangle around the Sella group.

The road over the mountain pass was built back in 1872, and then the three mountain huts followed which still operate today, with the oldest one, Carlo Valentini, being built in 1884.

The first lifts were built in the middle of the last century. The lifts lead you towards the Rif. Toni Demetz mountain hut and Punta Grohmann crest.
PHOTOGRAPHY RECOMMENDATIONS
To reach the photo spot, follow the trail from the parking lot, approximately 100 meters (~330 ft).

From the location, you'll get a fantastic view of the nearby Grohmannspitze mountain or Alpe di Siusi if you shoot in the other direction.

This is a perfect sunset location.
